12 Oct MARC-REINER SCHMIDT, VICTORIOUS AT THE 34TH ELF MOTO SUPERBIKER IN METTET
After an “Off” year caused by the Covid pandemic, the “ELF Moto Superbiker” regained its rights at the Mettet circuit and immediately established itself as the must-see motorcycle event.
The organizers spared no effort in this edition of the reunion. An exceptional field bringing together 350 pilots: the world specialists in Supermoto, but also speed and motocross pilots, eager to compete on this dirt and asphalt track. Spectacular activities, ranging from Stunt demonstrations led by Aras and Sarah Lezito, the world champion in the discipline, to acrobatic jumps performed by FMX champions including Gilles Dejong and Matthew Van Hoevelen, not to mention the 7 pilots of The Isle of Man, real “hotheads” of motorcycle racing, who were able to show off their immense talent in front of the 20,000 spectators.
The spectators were also able to enjoy the crazy atmosphere set by Dave Lambert, DJ Ghost and Mike Push during the After Race Party on Saturday evening!
The race in the lead
20,000 spectators who also vibrated to the rhythm of the races that followed one another throughout the weekend. With 5 categories on display, the fights were intense on the track, and the drivers were obviously hungry for competition.
Whatever the discipline, the contenders for victory competed in dexterity to avoid the pitfalls of the field. Notably Marc-Reiner Schmidt and Lukas Hollbacher who fought hard in the final of this “Elf Moto Superbiker”, until the last lap. Finally Marc-Reiner Schmidt won ahead of Lukas Hollbacher and Markus Class on the podium of this 34th edition of the Elf Moto Superbiker.
In the Quad category, Alfred Wolber won ahead of Pirrick Schweba and Cluydts Maxim.
What a show !
We look forward to seeing you on 7, 8 and 9 October 2022* for the 35th edition of the Elf Moto Superbiker!
